One day, but right now I'm happy to stay put as I have my job, my friends, my family and my pets to consider. Living abroad is in my long term plan, but right now I just want it for the weekend :)
My parents took me to Paris when I was pretty small (6 I think?) and its been on my list of places to go for such a long time now! Every weekend would definitely be ideal.
Let's think when we are rich, I would spend time in Portugal, Spain and Italy... I love the soft languages from these countries and the warm weather... ;)
I've only ever been to Disneyland Paris (lol) and had a drive through Paris very briefly. We're hoping to do more city breaks next year when we've finished scrimping for the US of A, including Paris and Barcelona, along with some Italian cities, maybe Berlin or Munich and Geneva. You can get super cheap, non-hostel accommodation on airbnb.com and the putter-uppers are reviewed by past guests mostly so you can pick a place where the person is more than likely not going to murder you in your sleep :) x
Oh, your post and that blog make me want to put my coat on and head to Paris RIGHT NOW! This year I'm lucky enough to be in France and only a couple of hours from Paris by train, and its still not too cheap to get there, but I really should make use of the opportunity more than just travelling through to reach the airport. I think that will be my mission for the next few months!
I'm with you on that one! I've never been to Paris. It's on my 'to do' list :(
ReplyDeleteOr you could just live there.
