Moments & Happy Things (Plus February Sponsorship)

10 Jan 2013

Watching The Tudors. Nicki recommended I give it a go, and I've been falling asleep on the sofa all week watching it. Charles is sex on legs. I love him.

Finding this series through Pinterest. Personally, my favourite thing to do at home is relaxing on the sofa under blankets, watching addictive TV series or reading blogs with a cup of tea. What I love most about my home is that it houses my little family.

Sunday dinner with my grandparents. My nana is the best cook in the world, and I'm not just saying that to be nice. She's amazing. We went over on Sunday and were plied with Sherry and roast and cheesecake as we watched 'Old Dogs' and the John Bishop Sunshine Tour, followed by a home video of the lot of us in Paris at the end of 1994 - which included scenes that confirm my suspicion that my brother was the favourite. 'Get out of the way Charlotte, we're trying to film the baby' was said more often than my mother would be comfortable to admit.

These photos (clearly not serious ones, in case any of you were wondering what's wrong with our faces.) I'm doing a  photography challenge with photos of us, and having forgotten to photograph the first 3 days of the year when attempting the 365 project have committed myself to 52. This is photo set number 1. I'm undecided on whether this will be a project I share on the blog or not, we shall see.

Reading through the archives of A Beautiful Mess.

Perfect timing. Petplan got in touch with me about sharing this cute advert just as I was waiting to hear what was wrong with Charlie (he's stressed.. yes, really) and just as my Mum had informed me that one of her dogs has had his face bitten by a fox. It was fate.

  1. I've been reading through the archives of A Beautiful Mess too - it definitely becomes addictive, have you also seen their old blog prior to the current one? If not here's the link:

  4. i'm so excited you're finally offering sponsorship! if i wasn't dead broke at the mo i would snap this right up. february sounds great though... have you considered passionfrui ads? takes all the hassle out and is (pretty much)free! just a thought, then you don't have to self manage your sponsors - it's all done for you!

  8. I haven't watched the Tudors myself, which strikes me as a little odd because they were my favourite subject in history. Don't underestimate the greatness of sitting on your tuchas watching addictive TV though.
