I started watching 'Nashville' following yesterday's post, and I have to say I'm pretty much in love with it. This song, in particular, has captured my attention to the point that I've had it on repeat all day, and the two characters in the show that sing this duet (Gunnar and Scarlett, if you were wondering) are my favourites.
I think what I love most about both the song and the show is that it makes me want to be around music. I used to love to sing, and used to love to spend time in cafes and bars and dirty concert halls listening to other people sing. Somewhere along the line I started to prefer the quiet, but this makes me want to experience it all over again. I guess with it being set in Nashville it's only natural it would make people feel that way. That place is just so damn musical.

ReplyDeleteAhhh this show is my all time favourite and this song is just amazing. My favourite song is 'Buried Under' (sung by Rayna) and No One Will Ever Love You....both are brilliant!
